U. S. Senator Johnny Isakson will give a legislative update at an Atlanta Press Club Newsmaker luncheon on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.

Who
Johnny Isakson is serving his second term in the U.S. Senate and has built a respected record of public service in the state of Georgia. Before being elected to the Senate, Isakson served 17 years in the Georgia Legislature and two years as chairman of the Georgia Board of Education. He then served three terms in the U.S. House.
Isakson is the only Republican in the Senate chairing two committees — the Senate Ethics Committee and the Senate Veterans’ Affairs Committee. He is also a member of the Senate Committee on Finance, the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, as well as the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.

The ticket price does not include parking. Parking is available in the 191 Building parking deck with entrances on Ellis Street and Peachtree Center Avenue. Discounted parking vouchers for this deck will be available for $5 at the event. Guests must bring the ticket they receive upon entering the deck to receive a discount. The Peachtree Center MARTA station is also conveniently located nearby.
