Description
Attend a free virtual training session on what journalists and law enforcement officers need to know to better understand and respect one another’s roles during volatile events of public interest, such as protests. Delve into the details on laws that protect press freedoms and give police authority to keep the peace. Learn about a new media-police training course developed by the Society of Professional Journalists Georgia Chapter in conjunction with the Georgia Public Safety Training Center (GPSTC).
