IWF Georgia is celebrating the importance of International Women’s Day (IWD) by hosting its 4th annual International Women’s Day (IWD) program to raise awareness of the condition of women in the U.S. and worldwide. IWD 2023 is a hybrid in person and virtual event featuring an update on the status of women globally and in Georgia. The 2023 IWD theme is: Women Leading Change.
We will focus on key areas of Women Leading Change including:
- The Importance of Rising Young Women Leaders
- Climate Crisis and Women
- The Ground Shifted – So Where Do Women Stand?
- The Care Economy: Women are the world’s caretakers but who takes care of them?
