The Sports Business Journal ranked Atlanta the #5 Best Sports Business City in America in 2023. By their own admission, the ranking seemed low when considering the world-class facilities and sports properties in the city. But Atlanta is considered by many as hard to navigate, congested, and “near capacity.” As the business of sports continues to grow and the city prepares for some huge events in the coming years, we’ve pulled together a panel of sports experts to talk about what’s next for Atlanta.
Panel
Lisa Benjamin, Chief Operating Officer, City of Atlanta
Dan Corso, President, Atlanta Sports Council
Brad Ross, VP Global Sports & Entertainment Marketing and Partnerships at The Coca-Cola Company
Tim Zulawski, President, AMB Sports and Entertainment
Moderator – Jeff Schultz, formerly of The Athletic
