2014 Atlanta Press Club Internship Recipients

The Atlanta Press Club to select students for summer internships

The Atlanta Press Club will select qualified journalism and communications students for summer internships at participating local media organizations including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Morris News Service and News Radio 106.7. Atlanta Press Club interns will be matched with a media organization based on their interests and abilities.

APC internships allow students to receive hands-on work experience at some of the leading news organizations in Atlanta. Interns will receive a $1,500 stipend for living expenses. Each internship will last 15-25 hours per week during the summer of 2015.

Students seeking to become an Atlanta Press Club intern, please complete the application by February 20, 2015.

Applicants must be current students who attend an accredited college or university and are majoring in journalism, broadcasting, mass media or communications.

For over a decade, the Atlanta Press Club supported college students each year with scholarships. In 2013, the Atlanta Press Club proudly transformed its scholarship program into an internship placement program. The Atlanta Press Club has distributed more than $70,000 to worthy students seeking careers in the journalism field.

Atlanta Press Club internships are funded by proceeds from the annual Hall of Fame dinner.
