Freelance writer
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is seeking to expand its roster of contributing writers for Living & Arts centerpiece stories.
Qualifications: Candidates must be experienced in longform storytelling, with a proven ability to identify compelling stories and tell them in a unique, captivating manner. Candidates must be deadline-driven, detail-oriented and able to collaborate well with story editors in every stage of the production process.
Responsibilities: Write engaging, error-free longform culture stories (1,500-2,000 words) of interest to a readership based in the Southeast, primarily in Atlanta. Work closely with story editors throughout the production process, including planning strong artwork and multi-media components.
Position is remote, but knowledge of Atlanta and the Southeast is required.
