Strategic Plan

The Atlanta Press Club completed a five-year strategic plan in 2011.

The plan includes:

MissionTo serve the professional and social needs of our journalism community and foster journalistic excellence. To advance the public’s interest in and understanding of a free press.

Vision: We are a beacon for excellence in journalism in a changing media landscape.

Strategic Objective 1: Help members navigate changes in the media and their profession.

Strategic Objective 2: Help Atlanta and Georgia understand the value of good journalism.

Strategic Objective 3: Become the venue for leaders and public figures to discuss and Atlantans to learn about today’s most important issues.
