PostsIt’s time again for the Atlanta Press Club’s Annual Holiday Author Party! Now in its 20th year, the Holiday Author Party is considered one of Atlanta’s most anticipated seasonal events for the media. This year’s event will be Tuesday, December 4th from 6:30-9:30pm at 200 Peachtree (formerly the Macy’s downtown building).
We host around 30 local and national authors who sign their latest works and we expect 300 to 400 of Atlanta’s top journalists, reporters and media professionals to attend. All proceeds from the event, including silent auction sales, will benefit the Atlanta Press Club. We are registered a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
We hope organizations will donate items for this year’s Silent Auction, which provides an excellent opportunity for organizations to be in front of members of the media while they are shopping with a holiday gift mindset. We are requesting interesting or fun items that will inspire bids from Atlanta Press Club members of all ages – donations of items of greater than $50 in value are encouraged, but we greatly appreciate anything you choose to contribute. In return for your tax-deductible donation, you will receive recognition for your company at the event as a silent auction contributor.
Interested parties can fill out the 2012 Atlanta Press Club Silent Auction Donation Form with the specifics of your tax-deductible gift and mail it to the Atlanta Press Club by November 9, 2012 (this will help us ensure your items are included in the event program). We are very grateful for all donations!
